Italo disco is definitely back again!!! Italo started in 80's and now it continues in 00's (NG - Next Generation)! There was a need for old songs, but they were so hard to find. I guess that you know what I'm talking about if you have tried. Guys from Spain saw an opportunity to earn some money, so they started with new compilation CDs with old remastered songs. That was really a great idea. Yet, we know well most of good old songs so there was idea to publish new songs in old style with original old singers. Everything started with FlashBack Records and now we have several labels making Italo Disco records. Here is FlashBack Record's text that describes situation:

Flashback Records is dedicated to Italian dance music of the 80's. The idea of Flashback Records is to release 80's Italo-disco music that has never been released before. If possible the released material will be taken from the old demos or master tapes. In some cases the tracks will be re-arranged and produced like new songs. In every case all the releases will have some kind of "real" connection to the Italian dance music of the 80's.

Our main goal is to discover, produce and release 80's Italian dance tracks and in this way keep the great music "alive". Flashback Records is a small independent label with extremely low budget. The intention is not to make money, but bring lost Italo-disco tracks to the daylight and delight of Italo-fans.

The main form for Flashback Records releases has been 12" (in the 80's spirit), but now we're going to extend our activity gradually to cds mainly. All the products are official releases under supervision of S.I.A.E. - Italy or TEOSTO - Finland.

The first three records excluded, the vinyl releases will be very limited editions and ment for the collectors only. The price of the vinyl products will vary from case to case. Cds will have a fair fixed price.

By buying our products you will support our activity and you will give us a chance to continue our projects and maybe the next Flashback release will be a real masterpiece of Italo-disco for you.
